Heavy Rainfall Warning in Telangana

The Telangana Meteorological Department has warned that there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rains in the state for the next three days. Apart from that, a red alert has also been issued for 11 districts of North Telangana

However, the Telangana Education Department has extended the holidays for the educational institutions as heavy rains will continue for the next three days. TS educational institutions will resume on 18th July (Monday). It is known that the government has already decided to declare holidays for educational institutions for three days (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday). Also, the exams to be held on July 14 and 15 have also been postponed.

As for Hyderabad…

Especially in East, North, and Central Telangana, “torrential rains” are falling. Streams and bends are overflowing due to rains. The Godavari is raging due to heavy flood water. Telangana recorded unprecedented rainfall in the month of July. The Meteorological Department has warned that there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rains in the state for the next three days. For three days straight, it has been raining nonstop in Hyderabad.

11 districts of Telangana are under red alert…

Ten districts of North TS are under a Red alert. A red alert has been issued by the meteorological department for Asifabad, Manchiryala, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Bhupalapalli, Mulugu, Kothagudem, Warangal Urban, Rural, Mahabubabad, and Janagama.
