SSC GD Constable 2025: Selection Process
The selection process for SSC GD Constable 2025 includes the following stages:
Computer-Based Examination (CBE)
- Objective type questions
- Subjects: General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge & General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, English/Hindi
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Race: Male candidates – 5 km in 24 minutes; Female candidates – 1.6 km in 8.5 minutes
Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Height, Chest (for males), and Weight measurements
Medical Examination
- Candidates must be medically fit as per SSC guidelines.
Document Verification
- Verification of required documents and certificates.

SSC GD Constable 2025 Exam: Syllabus Overview
General Intelligence & Reasoning:
- Topics include analogies, similarities, differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, problem-solving, analysis, judgment, decision-making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, and arithmetic reasoning.
General Knowledge & General Awareness:
- Focus on current events, India and its neighboring countries’ history, culture, geography, economic scene, general polity, Indian Constitution, and scientific research.
Elementary Mathematics:
- Topics include number systems, computation of whole numbers, decimals, fractions, relationships between numbers, fundamental arithmetical operations, percentages, ratio and proportion, averages, interest, profit and loss, discount, mensuration, time and distance, ratio and time, time and work.
And, a basic understanding of English or Hindi Language.
